Had to look at this one again….Tejasglo, I disagree Gore would have been blamed for 9/11. The liberal media would have sped to his defense at the least suggestion that he and Clinton take any responsibility for their recklessness. You make a good point. The current administration uses its "unique" position to silence much opposition through shame. This is the same way some citizens in particular groups have "achieved" their "status": that is, by learning to play the victim/race card in perpetuity, in every conceivable instance where their "most favored citizen" status might be threatened. Like children leery of becoming adults and accepting responsibility for their actions, no one does them any favors by playing the game by their rules.
Luckily, we elect our representatives rather than have them thrust upon us. Let us encourage our fellow voters to better educate ourselves about the issues and the candidates in the future before casting votes.
